The legislation/FSA does not specify what materials are suitable for chopping boards, so it is up to the Food Business Operator to demonstrate satisfactorily that the chopping boards meet the requirements as set out in the regulations. The FSA have guidance documents available to businesses ensuring compliance can be met effectively.”
