PIPING BAGs

The transition from disposable piping bags to reusable ones will be extremely quick and easy for many kitchens. For others that go through the blue bags like chefs go through marker pens, it will take some time to ensure you have enough reusable bags in stock to thrive, disposable free.

‘With just 4 bags we’re never short and with they are really quick to clean. They’re way stronger than the disposable bags so there’s never any issues with splitting'.’

David Knapman, Head Chef, The Hourglass Exeter

Resuable piping bags

THE SOLUTION

BUILD UP SPPLY

Whilst reusable cotton piping bags are coated in plastic, they will last a long time and have more durability saving on splits and lost product.

Our favourites are listed at the bottom of the page.

TAKE GOOD CARE

Some reusables must be handwashed and we recommend this to maximise their lives.
They really don’t take long to wash up and come with a tag, so you can hang them up to dry with ease.

Note: If any allergen has been used in the bag, soak the bag in hot soapy water to ensure there is no future cross-contamination.

The proof is in the pudding!

Whilst at the Conduit, pastry chef Polly Chan would produce delicious food like this for large events on a weekly basis. She only used reusable piping bags, proving that you can cater for huge numbers without filling your bin with those disposable blues.
